We are seeking a dependable, capable person to join our commercial cow-calf and yearling operation in North Central Nebraska. Previous ranch or agricultural experience is valuable but not required. More important are good judgment, mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others.
This is a varied, hands-on position involving livestock handling and animal health, equipment operation and maintenance, fencing, water systems, welding and fabrication, and the many day-to-day responsibilities of a working ranch.
The successful applicant will work closely with the owner/operator, who is a veterinarian, with opportunities to develop new skills, exercise independent judgment, and assume greater responsibility over time.
Excellent housing is provided in Stuart, Nebraska, along with work vehicle and competitive compensation.
