As a CHW focused on Youth & Family Wellness, you’ll be a frontline connector—bridging vulnerable families and teens to wellness services, mentorship, and culturally relevant education. You’ll work with both youth and parents to promote mental, physical, and emotional health.
Your Role Will Include:
Delivering health education to teens and parents about nutrition, reproductive health, and mental wellness
Supporting families in finding healthcare providers, therapy, or educational resources
Referring youth to programs like FAME Institute, Content Crew, and AI Ignite
Encouraging preventive screenings and regular checkups
Promoting positive youth development and healthy home environments
Training:
All CHWs must complete a free Community Health Worker training provided by My Baby My Way Foundation. A certificate will be awarded upon completion.
Qualifications:
Commitment to social justice, youth advocacy, and community empowerment
Strong listening and problem-solving skills
Experience working with underserved families or teens
